Toxics Link


Toxics Link is an environmental NGO dedicated to bring toxics related information into the public domain, both relating to struggles and problems at the grassroots as well as global information to the local levels is based in Delhi with a nodal office in Chennai with a wide network of more than 3000 members. 

Toxics Link engages in on-the ground work especially in areas of municipal, hazardous and medical waste management and food safety among others. Working in networks, utilising community outreach and education, policy analysis, research, training and program development, it works at the state and central levels to help create solutions, which are driven by the needs of people. 

Toxics Link has a unique expertise in the areas of hazardous, medical and municipal wastes, as well as in specific issues such as the international waste trade, and the emerging issues of pesticides and POPs.

LETS INTERN


Letsintern.com, winner of Economic Times Power of Ideas 2010, is organizing the internship and career services market space in India by connecting Students, Colleges and Companies on one platform. It attracted more than 3000 students from top colleges like IIT, St. Stephens, SRCC, LSR, St. Xavier’s, Presidency, Christ, BITS etc in a small span of 9-10 months to their web portal.

Letsintern.com received grant from Government of India to scale their services and got internship postings from India’s biggies like Ernst & Young, Titan, FCUK, Radio One, In.com, Indiatimes.com, Paul Mitchell, CIIE – IIM’Abad, NEWSX, Qua Mineral Water, Zee TV, Indian Angel Network etc.

It strives to bridge the gap between the job seeker and the job provider in the form of internships and trainings. The site provides internship in diverse areas like media, consumer goods, legal, technology, finance, law, architecture, engineering and marketing.
