Cloth Bank

Cloth Bank is an organized and sustainable campaign raised to make your materials reach the victims immediately at the time of need. Every year millions of people suffer from disastrous phenomenon like flood, landslide, earth quake, heavy storms, large snowfall and other natural calamities and poverty as well, which throw out them from basic needs for living- cloth along with food and shelter wherein unclothing becomes a sensitive factor for widespread epidemics of diseases, snake-bite, and pneumonia on children, various health hazards and deaths.
 
Many efforts are laid down to fight against these deficiencies at small and large level by various organizations. Many relief campaigns are launched. It takes a long time to start, run and end the relief campaign and distribute the materials to the affected ones. So, the concept of Cloth Bank has been raised as a sustainable initiative to work on the issue of clothing.

Cloth Bank is an organized, unregistered and sustainable campaign raised to make your materials reach the victims immediately at the time of need. It has no any negative impacts on environment. Healthy (unaffected by diseases) clothes from pants to caps, sweaters, jackets, shirts, t-shirts, and other types will be collected at the bank.

Biosense Technologies is a technology and design driven initiative. Their dream is to add value to the lives of people by developing products and product extended services that help improving their ways of life.

Their primary and current focus is in developing the ToucHb platform. Their vision is to enable and empower every health worker as a vital decision maker towards saving lives by providing them with simple, portable & reliable diagnostic tools. With ToucHb, a non-invasive hemoglobin estimation device in the hands of every doorstep health-care worker, they aim to shift the paradigm of anaemia surveillance and drastically reduce the number of deaths occurring due to anaemia that is close to 1 million per year at the moment.

In December 2008, Anaemedia was reincarnated as Biosense Technologies Private Limited.

ASSCOD


ASSCOD is a voluntary organization working for social and economic development in the rural areas of Kancheepuram and Thiruvannamalai Districts in Tamil Nadu, India. The team is focused on working mainly with the grassroots need gap - women and families from the deprived sections of the society such as the lower castes, who are especially vulnerable to poverty, social injustice, illiteracy and poor health
 
Founded in 1994, ASSCOD started its operations with core concentration on the health issues of the poor people in Tamilnadu, India. The organization made greater impact after expanding its focus on promoting the social and economic development of the rural poor, especially through the empowerment of women, education and disaster management. ASSCOD identified the weak links in the development of an empowered society and robust economy. Since 2003, ASSCOD’s centered its approach around the concept of self-help groups: organizing women into small groups, encouraging micro-savings and credit, and imparting skills and awareness training to its beneficiaries. 

Furthermore, ASSCOD is committed to helping people in other ways as new opportunities and needs arise, and so in response to the Tsunami that devastated most of coastal regions Tamil Nadu in year 2004, ASSCOD collaborated with other development organizations in the regions to assist the disaster-hit individuals and families in a variety of ways. ASSCOD is also dedicated to working closely with smaller, local NGOs and supporting and promoting their efforts.

Shanti Avedna Sadan

The Shanti Avedna Sadan,  a non-governmental voluntary organization, run by a Charitable Trust is India’s first Hospice, an institution that takes care of the advanced terminally ill Cancer patients. It is neither a hospital nor a home, but is in fact both, offering the specialized care of a hospital together with the love of a home.

The aims of the Institution are to care for the advanced and terminally ill Cancer patients and those cancer patients suffering from AIDs, to offer this care to all who need it, irrespective of community caste or creed, to give preference to the poor and needy and to conduct research for palliation in advanced Cancer.

The main Branch in Mumbai with the new extension can accommodate 100 inpatients whereas the branches in Delhi and Goa can accommodate 40 and 20 patients respectively.

Injustices Foundation



Aditya Sood humble nature led to the foundation of Injustices, a non-profit organization full of youths working for plethora of noble causes.

The main objectives of the foundation are:

1. Raising funds for disaster victims/noble causes through Red Cross.
2. Covering the normal life of a common human being.
3. Helping the needy by providing neutral humanitarian care to the people who need support.
4. Organizing events for raising funds.

For time to time the foundation organized various social events across the country. Some of their successful events were organizing Health Programs for the people of Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula and raising funds for the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami victims
