SPHOORTI is a non-profit organization working for underprivilegedchildren - orphaned, abandoned, destitute and other vulnerable groups. Their mission is to change lives of such children - by providing them with long-term care. This includes basic needs, education and healthcare, and skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens.
Through the involvement and support from several individuals, groups of individuals and non-profit organizations in India and abroad, Sphoorti Foundation works for the rehabilitation of children belonging to underprivileged and vulnerable sectionsof the society. They support 140 children; run Children's Homes in three different premises in BN Reddy Nagar near Cherlapally, Hyderabad.
Attending to the children's most basic needs constitutes a vital component of Sphoorti's work. Sphoorti does not compromise with the quality of care and support provided to its children. Once a child's material needs are satisfied, comprehensive rehabilitation requires that we restore a safe and secure childhood to the child. Giving children happiness, security, and a sense of belonging is as much a priority as their academic and professional development.
